If not Kane, then who?
Harry Kane has been an important player for Bayern Munich, bailing the club out in many tough games as of late. He has scored 18 goals in the league so far this season, which is what the European Golden Shoe bases off of; since Kane plays for one of the top five leagues, his goal tally is multiplied by two (coefficient) so he has 36 points. Amazingly, he isn’t top of the chart:

The former Tottenham Hotspur striker is only in second place, sitting 0.5 points behind Akor Adams of Montpellier. Doing the math on how Adams is above Kane (the number of goals he scored for his previous club Lillestrom [he is listed as having played for 2 clubs]) is mind boggling; it does not add up at all.
