Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 price revealed ahead of official launch – Kalinga TV

Royal Enfield is all set to launch the most awaited Himalayan 450 motorcycle on 24 November at Motoverse 2023 in Vagator, Goa. The company will reveal the price of the Himalayan 450 at the event. Royal Enfield unveiled the all-new Himalayan 450 a few weeks ago. But, the price was not revealed at that time. Now, the expected price of the Himalayan 450 has been revealed.
The dual-purpose adventure tourer is the first motorcycle coming out of the all-new 450 cc series of the company. The bike is powered by an all-new 451.65 cc single-cylinder DOHC four-valve liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine. It produces a maximum power output of 40.02 PS and 40 Nm of peak torque and is linked with a six-speed transmission and the equipment list is loaded with many first-for-RE features.
The Himalayan 450 is equipped with all LED lighting, a full-colour TFT screen, a brand new switchgear, riding modes, 43 mm upside-down front forks, linked type monoshock rear suspension, front and rear disc brakes assisted by a dual-channel ABS system, and a tall transparent windscreen. It also features slip and assist clutch as standard, USB charging port, a wide handlebar, and a split seat setup.
The new circular TFT instrument console allows for turn-by-turn navigation through Google Maps. The M mode can be used to switch between Eco and Performance modes and there is also a five-way joystick to run through different settings. The Himalayan 450 also has a fuel tank capacity of 17 litres.
The adventure bike will replace the Himalayan 411 in India, which will be discontinued soon. Currently, the Scram 411 retails at a starting price of Rs 2.06 lakh, whereas the Himalayan 411 is priced at Rs 2.16 lakh (both ex-showroom).
So, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is expected to arrive with a starting price of Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 2.6 lakh for the Kaza Brown paint scheme. The remaining variants are expected to be Rs 12,000 to Rs 20,000 more expensive. The Chennai-based brand will price the base variant at around Rs. 3 lakh, on-road.
The next motorcycle in Royal Enfield’s line-up is the famous Interceptor 650, with a price tag of Rs 3.03 lakh.
