Exciting bike launches of November 2023: Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 to New Honda CB350 – Times of India

​November 2023 witnessed an array of bike launches that set automotive enthusiasts abuzz with excitement. Here we have compiled some of the most exciting bikes that made a debut last month in the Indian market. ​

Royal Enfield recently launched the new Himalayan 450 at its Motoverse festival in Goa, at an introductory price of Rs 2.69 lakh (ex-showroom). At its heart, the ADV is powered by a 452 cc liquid-cooled, DOHC engine, generating 40 hp power and 40 Nm torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and gets an assist and slipper clutch. It has a ground clearance of 230 mm. ​

​Bengaluru-based startup Orxa Energies launched its Mantis electric motorcycle in India for Rs 3.6 lakh (ex-showroom). Available in a single variant, the electric bike is powered by a 27 hp electric motor and generates 93 Nm torque. The 8.9 kWh battery offers an IDC-certified range of 221 km per charge. It has a top speed of 135 kmph. ​

​Royal Enfield has also launched its hand-built Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition at its festival in Vagator, Goa. Limited to 25 units, the Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition will be sold at Rs 4.25 lakh (ex-showroom) to Motoverse attendees only. This hand-painted motorcycle will be based on the Super Meteor 650 with a few design changes, such as a chopped rear fender, flat handlebars, mid-set footpegs, a new headlamp cowl, and more. ​

HMSI introduced the new Honda CB350 in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Offered in two variants – DLX and DLX Pro, the motorcycle gets all LED lighting, a digital-analogue instrument cluster, an assist and slipper clutch, and more. The bike generates 21 hp of max power and 29.4 Nm of peak torque, thanks to its 348.3 cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. ​
