Bayern Munich wants Ronald Araújo, and may even wait until summer 2024 – Bavarian Football Works

This board can be really hard to understand.
In lieu of their defensive shortcomings in January and February, Bayern Munich are looking for defensive reinforcements to help shore up the defence in the absence of the regular starters. For some odd reason, the Bavarians suddenly thought they could just pry Ronald Araújo away from FC Barcelona, who promptly vetoed a winter transfer for the Uruguayan:
Bayern have been told that signing Ronald Araújo in January is not an option – winter move is off the table. There’s still a slight hope for the summer, although Barcelona want to extend Araújo’s contract. Bayern would have been willing to spend big on the Uruguayan defender.

This transfer isn’t gonna happen because Araújo is too expensive and there are better options out there if Bayern are going to try and get him in the summer. How about a Spanish attacking right-back?
