Oliver Kahn considered legal action against Bayern Munich – Bavarian Football Works

Oliver Kahn’s return to Bayern Munich as part of management didn’t go as planned, with him being canned after the end of the 2022/23 season following mounting pressure from the fanbase regarding his credibility. Uli Hoeneß then went on to bash the former World Cup finalist in October which prompted the 53-year-old to consider legal action against his former employers:
Following Uli Hoeneß’ statements in October criticizing Oliver Kahn (Appointing Oliver Kahn was a mistake – Kahn didn’t work enough), the former CEO threatened to take legal action. Kahn’s lawyer sent an email to the club’s bosses warning that they had agreed to maintain confidentiality and that Hoeneß had clearly violated that. Kahn and his lawyer threatened to take legal action if there’s a further violation. Bayern bosses then asked Hoeneß to be moderate in his statements in the future.

Uli is known for showing no hesitation in saying exactly what is on his mind and sometimes gets the club into trouble for it.
