Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka is hoping to have his name on the call sheet for the German national team heading into the Euros next summer.
Goretzka knows there will be plenty of competition in the central midfield, but the 28-year-old is confident that he can assert himself. Former Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann will ultimately be the judge on how that works for Goretzka and also on who will be on the final roster next summer.
For Goretzka, that is a good thing as he trusts that Nagelsmann is fully focused on finding a winning combination.
