Bayern could beat Tottenham to the punch for the Romanian defender.
In the past week and half, there have been a handful of names linked with being transfer prospects for Bayern Munich. Eric Dier, João Palhinha, and Nordi Mukiele have been heavily linked within the past couple of days, but there is also a new name that is heating up.
Bayern is in the race to sign Romanian defender Radu Drăgușin from Genoa FC in Serie A and they could very well beat Tottenham Hotspur to the punch. The North London-based outfit has been keen on signing the young defender, but it looks like Bayern could be causing a real problem for Ange Postecoglou and company.
Per an update from football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Bayern has submitted an official bid for Drăgușin to Genoa, potentially derailing a move to Tottenham:

According to Relevo journalist Matteo Moretto, corroborated the information regarding Bayern Munich’s offer to Genoa:

The German club only offers cash. Genoa accepted both offers.
Dragusin, who had already found a general financial agreement with Tottenham, decides now.
Finally, Italian journalist Gianluca DiMarzio is reporting that the saga is in the “decisive hours”:

Tottenham’s offer, which was accepted by Genoa, is worth €24m fee plus €6m add-ons plus Djed Spence on loan. Bayern have now submitted an official offer, slightly higher than Spurs, which has ‘reopened the game’. Both teams are making their maximum efforts to sign the player. Drăguşin will now decide which team he wants to play for. Decisive hours.
Drăgușin clearly has some thinking to do.
