Mathys Tel doubles down on commitment to Bayern Munich – Bavarian Football Works

Finally, some good news!
Mathys Tel burst onto the scene at Bayern Munich last season, displaying a delightful mix of speed, skill, and passion. Despite the coaching change in 2023, the teenage sensation reaffirmed his desire to stay with Bayern Munich’s senior squad rather than seek a loan or transfer to a club that could offer more playing time.
After a subpar performance in the DFL-Supercup, Tel rebounded by scoring six goals in nine appearances. But then Tel hit a rough patch where he didn’t score for five months. While it was an up-and-down season for most of Bayern’s players, Tel kept plugging away at this craft.
Tel’s agent, Gadiri Camara, quickly dismissed any notion that the French attacker will leave Bayern this summer:
“Mathys signed a long-term contract with his club,” Camara told Tz’s Philipp Kessler (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “He is in the process of learning from the elite. We take both the roses and the thorns. We’re questioning ourselves, we’re working and we’re moving forward. No matter who will be the coach next season, Mathys will be available and will continue to learn in order to conquer his glory and the titles that everyone in Munich is waiting for. That is his only concern after an instructive season. He is 1000% Mia san mia and proud of that.”
With a market value estimated at €40m (making him the most valuable player born in 2005), Tel could play anywhere in the world. But luckily for Bayern, Tel wants to become a legend in Munich.
