Near production-ready Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 SPIED! – BikeWale

Suvil Susvirkar
– Spotted in Lutterworth, England
– Launch likely in 2023
– To be powered by a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine
Royal Enfield’s upcoming middleweight adventure-tourer motorcycle, the Himalayan 450, has shown itself once again and this time in Europe. The bike was spotted without any camouflage stickers, and it appears to be near production-ready. This test mule of the Himalayan 450 was spotted at Lutterworth, which is close to the company’s UK technology centre.
The spy image gives a clear look at the motorcycle’s suspension setup that comprises upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock – both featuring a long travel. The picture also shows a stubby exhaust canister that’s much more compact than the unit on the current Royal Enfield Himalayan (411). Other elements visible in the spy photograph include bolted sub-frame, liquid-cooled radiator, split-style seats, 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, and disc brakes.
We have been bringing exclusive details about this upcoming adventure-tourer. Regular visitors of Bikewale would know that the new Himalayan 450 will use a 450cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that will deliver 40bhp and 45Nm of peak torque. The feature list will include full-LED lighting, a fully-digital instrument cluster, and dual-channel ABS.
The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will rival the likes of KTM 390 Adventure and BMW G 310 GS. This motorcycle is expected to debut early next year, and Royal Enfield should price it attractively.
