The Chennai-based motorcycle manufacturer, Royal Enfield, is gearing up to launch its model, the Himalayan 450. The updated iteration of its adventure motorcycle is regularly spotted testing on country roads. Just a few weeks ago, a set of pictures showing this new bike fully undisguised was also shared online. Furthermore, a video showing the insane top speed of the Himalayan 450 during testing has been shared online.

The video of the forthcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 testing on the highway comes courtesy of Bunny Punia. The video, uploaded to their YouTube channel, shows a Royal Enfield test driver riding the new bike on the highway at very high speeds. In the video, it can be noted that initially, the driver of the car is driving at a speed of 129 kmph, trying to catch up to the biker. However, despite this astonishing speed, the Royal Enfield rider is ahead.
Next, the driver again shows the speedometer of the car, and this time he is chasing him at 133 kmph. Surprisingly, both the car and the bike were cruising at nearly the same speeds. Moving on, in another attempt to come next to the biker, the car driver smashes the accelerator and shows the speed reaching in excess of 140 kmph. However, he still was not able to catch the speeding Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. What was even more surprising is that the bike in the video was equipped with three different panniers, with two on each side and one behind the rider.

From this video, it can be assumed that the top speed of the Himalayan 450 will be around 150 kmph. Also, without the panniers and the driver sitting upright, it could potentially achieve a little more top speed. This video highlights the fact that the all-new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will have a new four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine packed with power. According to reports, the bike will come equipped with a 451.65cc engine capable of delivering 40 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm. As of yet, the exact torque specifications for this upcoming bike have not been revealed; however, it is believed to be within the range of 40-45 Nm. Additionally, the motorcycle will come with a 6-speed transmission unit as standard.

A few weeks ago, pictures of a fully undisguised Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 adventure motorcycle parked were shared online. These pictures revealed all the design details of this upcoming bike. From the pictures, it was noted that the bike will be equipped with an all-new steel trellis frame, which will be the basis of this bike. This new frame will bring a lot of changes to the structure and design of the bike.
The upcoming Himalayan 450 will get a USD fork suspension setup. The headlight has also been changed, and it now features an LED setup on the inside. Additionally, the indicator design has been updated. Another one of the biggest updates of the bike will be that it will come equipped with a single circular digital LCD display. This new screen will display all the essential information of the bike. It will most likely also be offered with Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, the switchgear on the handlebar has been revamped.
