Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr will play against Al-Shorta FC of Baghdad in the 2023 Arab Club Champions Cup.
A 3-1 victory over Raja Casablanca booked a place for Al Nassr in the semifinal of the 2023 edition of the cup. This is for the first time that the Saudi Club has reached the semifinal stage of the competition since 1995.
Both teams finished second in their respective groups. Al Nassr began the tournament with a goalless draw. They are undefeated with two wins and two draws. The Saudi side has scored eight and conceded three goals in four 2023 Arab Club Champions Cup.
Al-Shorta have won two, lost one and drawn one game in the tournament. They have scored six goals and conceded four. The team won their last match against AL Sadd 4-2 to reach the semifinal.
Both teams look to reach the final of the Arab Club Champions Cup. Al-Hilal and Al Shabab Riyadh face each other in the other semifinal.
A win for Al Nassr in this match could set up an all-Saudi final. Cristiano Ronaldo will also look to add another silverware to his overall trophy list. The Portuguese international is one of the best footballers and he will be hungry to win the Arab Club Champions Cup.
