– Will feature a fully digital instrument console
– To be powered by a 648cc parallel-twin motor
The upcoming Royal Enfield Sherpa 650 has been spotted again and this time, the spy shots have revealed new details about the bike. Let’s take a close look at Royal Enfield‘s upcoming middleweight scrambler.
Royal Enfield will equip the Sherpa 650 with a single-pod instrument console and it will be a fully digital unit. From the new spy images, it seems that this bike could share the cluster with the upcoming Himalayan 450. But the final layout could be different. Apart from that, the test bike is equipped with MRF block pattern tyres wrapped around spoke wheels. Then. there’s a tail rack too which seems mounted on the rear subframe.
The Sherpa 650 will use the same 648cc twin-cylinder motor that we see on the current 650cc bikes from Royal Enfield. It dishes out 47bhp and 52Nm and comes with a six-speed gearbox. Owing to its scrambler nature, the Sherpa 650 could have a different state of tune and gear ratios.
On the other hand, the hardware would comprise USD front forks and twin rear shocks. The braking setup will include a front and rear disc with dual-channel ABS. For added convenience, the Sherpa 650 is likely to get a single-piece seat with a ribbed cover.
Currently, Royal Enfield has the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650 and Super Meteor 650 on sale. Apart from that, it also has the Classic 650, Bullet 650 and a few other bikes lined up.
