The French phenom is widely regarded as one of the best draft prospects in recent history, with the San Antonio Spurs almost certainly guaranteed to select him with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. 
Playing professionally since 2019, Wembanyama has been a star in the French league, being named LNB Pro MVP in 2023 — the youngest player ever to win the accolade. He was also named the league’s Best Young Player in each of the past three seasons.

Victor Wembanyama is 19 years old. Born on January 4, 2004, he will be 19 years, 5 months and 16 days on the night of the 2023 NBA Draft.
