Matthias Jaissle set to be appointed new Al-Ahli head coach – Khel Now

Matthias Jaissle is reportedly in talks with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli and is reportedly set to be appointed by their new head coach.
The 35-year-old German manager is considered to be one of the most talented young managers in Europe. He has been managing Austrian Bundesliga side Red Bull Salzburg since 2021.
His stint with Salzburg has been very successful. in his two seasons with Salzburg, he has won the Austrian Bundesliga two consecutive times, in the 2021-2022 season, and 2022-2023 season. On top of that, he has also won the Austrian cup once in 2021-2022. He manage RB Salzburg in 93 games, out of which they won 64 and lost only 9, and 20 ended in a draw, giving him an impressive win ratio of 68.82 percent.
Al-Ahli have had a spectacularly busy transfer window, so far, they have managed to acquire big names from the Premier League like, Edouard Mendy from Chelsea, Allan Saint- Maximin from Newcastle United, and Roberto Firmino form Liverpool. Not to forget, Al-Ahli already have ex-Premier League star  Ezgjan Alioski in their ranks.
Al-Ahli have been trying to compete with their fierce domestic rivals in Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, and Al-Ettifaq, who themselves have acquired big names like Karim Benzema, Ngolo Kante, and most notably, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Al-Ahli are one of the most successful clubs in the Saudi Pro League, having won three league titles, and are the most successful when it comes to the Kings League, having won it a record 13 times.
In the recent, Saudi exodus of footballers to the Gulf, Al-Ahli was said to be a little late to join the transfer market. However, they have made incremental gains in recent times having acquired many huge names. Now, they are attempting to get a quality manager to go for a title charge.
