Benelli has taken the wraps off the BKX300 adventure motorcycle at the EICMA 2023 a few months after it unveiled the concept.
The motorcycle is a fresh take on the Benelli’s TRK range that comes with a beak and seemingly heavy bodywork. The BKX on the other hand, is minimal in its design and comes with half fairing and a unique stacking of the LED lighting.
It also comes with a single-piece seat that edges close to the fuel tank. At the rear, the Benelli BKX300 uses LED tail lamps integrated with turn indicators as well. The motorcycle also gets an SC Project exhaust parallel to the rear section. Its bodywork is clean and flows from the front to the back with some sharp creases.
That said, the bike’s engine is exposed under the bodywork. This 292cc, single-cylinder engine churns out 29.2bhp and 24.5Nm. It comes with a six-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch. Hardware includes 19/17-inch spoke wheels shod with dual-purpose tyres. The double cradle frame is supended from non-adjustable forks up front and a pre-load adjustable monoshock with 180mm travel at both ends. Braking is done by a 280mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear.
Now the Benelli BKX300 will be available in international markets soon and we expect it to make its way to India sometime in 2024. It would compete against the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the KTM 250 Adventure.
