The Royal Enfield Himalayan is all set to be launched in India early next month, yet the manufacturer has released another video teasing the upcoming motorcycle.

The teaser video continues to showcase the KTM 390 Adventure rival from all angles, exposing the details of its exterior. To begin with, the Himalayan 452 is likely to be offered in multiple variants one of which will sport cross-spoke wheels and tubeless-tyres; a rare offering in the segment. The other version would offer conventionally fitted spokes with tube-type tyres. We can also expect the cross-spoke wheels to be offered as accessories and equipment like crash guards, panniers, seats and windscreens as well.
While details have been kept hush, we know that the Himalayan 452 will feature full-LED lighting and an interesting-looking circular TFT screen. This display will be Bluetooth enabled and has the ability to split and display Google Maps alongwith vital information like speed, range and odometer. Other than this, Royal Enfield is also expected to include switchable ABS too.
Powering the motorcycle is a 452cc, liquid-cooled motor that churns out 39.57bhp and around 40-45Nm. Notable, this engine is the first liquid-cooled unit from Royal Enfield and will come mated to a six-speed gearbox. According to our sources, the Himalayan 452 will be lighter than the 411 by a few kilos despite the additional equipment and bigger engine. It will ride on upside-down forks and a monoshock while braking hardware consists of a single front and rear disc.
We expect Royal Enfield to price the motorcycle competitively around Rs 2.50-2.60 lakh, ex-showroom. It will go up against the KTM 390 Adventure, BMW G310 GS and the Yezdi Adventure as well.
